William A.Decker, MD, author of Northern Michigan Asylum, Arbutus Press shared a signing table with me at the State Hospital Employees Reunion, August, 2010. Beautiful book and a fascinating man with a great sense of humor. Dr. Decker was the superintendent of the Kalamazoo State Hospital until it closed. He still practices psychiatry at the age of 89.
